These five beautifully illustrated Christmas cards are based on my strongest memories of Christmas growing up and the preparations that go on in the days and weeks leading up to it. I tried to draw from my own stories, to create something that in turn people might be able to identify with themselves.

The five designs include:

Present Wrapping - wrapping Christmas presents usually last minute, with a drink and a Christmas film

Christmas Wreath - making a wreath for the front door from foraged foliage with sore fingers from prickly holly (and not wearing gloves)

Mince Pies - helping my Mum make mince pies with homemade pastry and a production line of ingredients, cutters and filling to put together and bake then eat warm.

Christmas Tree - decorating the tree, wondering if the tangled lights will work and unpacking the mismatched decorations sourced and made over the years

Christmas Day - the culmination of all the preparation, a day for games and family and warm fires and lots of love.
