Creative Workshops for Corporate Wellbeing

Fostering creativity, calm, and connection through bespoke watercolour and sketchbook sessions

When Did You Last Do Something Just for the Joy of It?

Most people in your team couldn't answer that question quickly. Not because they don't want to, but because there's always something more urgent, more measurable, more justifiable.

Creativity is usually the first thing to go, and yet it's often the thing people miss most. That feeling of being absorbed in something, of using your hands, of making something that didn't exist before.

These workshops create the conditions for that to happen. Not as a reward for hard work, or a box to tick on a wellbeing agenda, but as a genuine pause. One that tends to leave people feeling more like themselves than they have in a while.

No experience needed, no outcome to aim for. Just space, materials, and a little encouragement to begin.

Ideal for:

  • Team retreat days

  • Leadership off-sites

  • Hybrid and remote team get-togethers

  • Brand wellbeing programmes

  • Conferences and event partners

Imogen’s session was the self-care I didn’t know I needed. She made it feel easy, gentle and nourishing. I left with a painting I was proud of and a whole new sense of calm.
— Lizzy, Workshop Attendee

Why Creativity at Work Matters

You don’t need to be ‘an artist’ to benefit from creativity. In fact, many people who come to my workshops haven’t picked up a pencil or paintbrush since school. That’s what makes it so powerful.

1. Encourage Creative Thinking
Watercolour painting naturally encourages experimentation and new ways of seeing, perfect for sparking ideas and innovation. It’s a great way to nurture creative confidence in your team, helping them to approach challenges with new perspectives.

2. Enhance Focus and Productivity
Painting encourages people to slow down and become present in the moment. This gentle, immersive focus reduces stress and allows space for clarity. People leave feeling calmer, clearer, and more energised.

3. Strengthen Team Connection and Communication
Whether painting individually or as part of a shared experience, creative workshops create a relaxed space for conversation, reflection, and connection. These moments of creativity build stronger relationships and foster a deeper sense of team cohesion.

4. Support Mental Health and Wellbeing
Creative activities like watercolour and sketching have been shown to reduce anxiety, boost mood, and support emotional resilience. In the workplace, this translates to happier, more grounded teams who feel seen, supported, and able to thrive.

It feels like you’ve given us the gift of time. I feel so relaxed and inspired.
— Participant, Belmond Retreat Workshop

The Person Behind the Session

These workshops are led by someone who understands — from the inside — what it means to feel disconnected from creativity, and what it can feel like to find your way back to it.

My work with teams and retreats has grown from years of running creative programmes with West Kent Mind, where I've seen what happens when someone picks up a brush for the first time in years and realises they're capable of making something. Those experiences have shaped everything about how I facilitate — not just the creative side, but the human side.

I don't just create a nice afternoon. I hold space for people who might feel nervous, resistant, or genuinely convinced they have no creativity in them. That's often where the most meaningful moments happen.

My approach is warm, encouraging, and entirely non-prescriptive. I won't tell people how to paint — I'll help them find their own way. And the training I've built alongside my creative practice means I can support people with care and skill, whatever they bring into the room.
