Bringing Creativity, Connection & Calm to Your Workplace with Watercolour Workshops

Why Watercolour for Your Team?

In today’s fast-paced world, creativity and mindfulness are often overlooked, yet they are crucial for maintaining productivity, team unity, and mental wellbeing. Watercolour painting is not just an artistic pursuit; it’s a form of mindfulness, encouraging people to slow down, find calm, and reconnect with their creative side.

Through my watercolour workshops, I help people and teams unlock these benefits. Whether it’s a one-off session or a series of workshops, your team will learn the art of watercolour painting while reaping the rewards of improved focus, creativity, and collaboration.

Imogen immediately put us at ease, explained the concepts of painting with watercolours without overwhelm, and supported our creative journey with a lovely blend of kindness & expert advice. The vibe created was truly one of collective camaraderie & relaxation. I felt totally comfortable despite having never used watercolours before.

Benefits of Watercolour Workshops for Teams

1. Encourage Creative Thinking
Watercolour painting naturally encourages experimentation and thinking differently, perfect for sparking new ideas and fresh approaches to challenges. It’s a great way to nurture creative confidence in your team, helping them to approach challenges with new perspectives.

2. Enhance Focus & Productivity
The process of painting helps people slow down and focus on the present moment. This sense of flow not only reduces stress but can also leave your team feeling recharged and ready to dive back into their work with renewed energy.

3. Build Team Connection & Communication
Whether painting individually or as part of a group project, watercolour workshops promote open communication, shared ideas, and collaboration in a relaxed setting. It’s the perfect opportunity for team building and developing stronger interpersonal relationships.

4. Support Mental Health & Wellbeing
Watercolour is a mindful activity that encourages relaxation. Studies show that creative activities like painting can reduce anxiety, improve mood, and increase resilience—essential factors for maintaining good mental health in the workplace.

Imogen’s watercolour workshop was the selfcare I didn’t know I needed. I took so much from the session - taking a break from my usually busy life and appreciating the slow, the calm. As well as learning a new way to paint.
Imogen has a patient, calm and approachable personality and is able to make anyone feel at ease. It is so lovely listening to Imogen talk so passionately about her work and her knowledge and experience is so apparent.
