About Me

Hello, I’m Imogen, a watercolour illustrator, creative workshop host, and advocate for the joy, peace and connection that creativity can bring.

I love nothing more than creating thoughtful, storytelling illustration and hand lettering. Using ink and watercolour to celebrate places, moments, and memories. Whether I’m illustrating a beloved home, a carefully curated shopfront, or a seasonal garden full of colour and life, my work always starts with stories. It’s about noticing and capturing the quiet details that bring depth and meaning to a piece.

My illustrations have grown into a business that blends bespoke commissions, immersive workshops and product design, all rooted in connection, calm, and craft. It is my passion and my life, which means when I’m doing this, you get the very best of me.

My Approach

I believe in the power of slow, handcrafted creativity. In a fast paced world, illustration invites us to pause, reflect deeply,  to look closer and meaningfully connect to ourselves and others.

Each project, whether personal or professional, is approached with care, curiosity, and attention to detail. I love working collaboratively to create illustrations that feel intimate, intentional and lasting, whether they’re gifts, artworks, brand storytelling, or celebration pieces.

Painting is also my way of grounding. It supports my wellbeing, my sense of purpose, and I see every day how it can do the same for others. That’s why I host watercolour, calligraphy and sketching workshops for individuals, communities and businesses. These are spaces to slow down, reconnect, and rediscover creativity.

How It Started

Before illustration, I worked in interior architecture, drawn to spaces that told stories and evoked feeling. That background now weaves through my illustration practice, in how I see space, texture, and narrative.

I began building my creative business on the side, slowly working on it alongside full-time job. In January 2024, I took the leap to go all in, left my interior design job and haven’t looked back since. I feel a real sense that this is what I am supposed to be doing, which is wonderful.

Since then, I’ve worked with purpose-led brands, individuals, charities and community groups. I’ve taught workshops at beautiful venues, created illustrations for events and editorial, and been featured in publications like Country Life, Good Housekeeping, and Homes & Gardens. I’ve also shared my journey on podcasts, which you can explore here.
