Why I Create Hand-Painted House Portrait Decorations

In a world where so many gifts are fleeting, I wanted to offer something truly special so I have created hand-painted house portrait decorations that capture memories and bring joy year-round. These pieces are more than just Christmas decorations; they are keepsakes that celebrate the places and moments that matter most to you.

I’ve designed these house portraits to be meaningful, personal gifts that stand the test of time. My goal is to help you give a gift that will be cherished for years to come, avoiding the disposable nature of so many seasonal presents. Each decoration allows you to bring your favourite places into your home, whether it’s your own house, a cherished holiday spot, or even your wedding venue.

These 7.5cm ceramic discs are handcrafted in the UK by a lovely lady using clay from Stoke-on-Trent and fired in her electric kiln powered entirely by renewable energy. The silk ribbon, sourced from another small business, is hand-dyed in the UK and torn to create the perfect finishing touch. Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure these decorations are not only beautiful but also as environmentally responsible as possible.

Priced at £95 each, these decorations include UK postage and a donation to the Thousand Year Trust, a charity dedicated to the restoration of our temperate rainforest landscapes. The Trust’s mission, inspired by the longevity of the Sessile oak, reflects a commitment to thinking long-term—just as I strive to create pieces that will be treasured for generations.

For Christmas 2025, I will be releasing these decorations in limited batches starting 1st October. To be the first to hear about release dates join the wait list below!

I wanted to say how very pleased I am with it and also to commend you for the care you took in packaging it up. I’m looking forward to the reaction when the family sees that the house has been “immortalised”. Thank you again for a job very well done

Christmas Cards

These ink and watercolour illustrations are designed around some of my fondest and most vivid memories of Christmas and the preparations in the days and weeks before. Each pack has one of each of the five designs - mince pies, Christmas wreath, Christmas presents, Christmas tree and Christmas day.
